Dr. Zee Lo, OMD - Dr. Lo was one of the first oriental medical doctors who cared for Sifu Cheng during his transition time from Caltech to UCLA. A former student of Sifu Ted Wong, Dr. Lo was first certified to teach JKD and then created his own martial art, as well as a series of instructional videos to promote it. He is highly skilled in Dit Da Traumatology, having authored a book on the subject. It is in no small part due to the warmth and generosity of Dr. Lo that Sifu Cheng undertook his course of training at Emperor's College.

The Art of Fong Sam - Fong Sam is a longtime student of Sifu Mark Cheng, and one of two people who are recognized as instructors of his Yang style Tai-Chi. Shotokan Karate of America - This is the only official website for Shihan Tsutomu Ohshima, direct pupil of Shotokan founder Gichin Funakoshi, and Ohshima Sensei's worldwide network of instructors and dojos. Robert W. Young, the executive editor of Black Belt Magazine, is undoubtedly one of the first Americans to do any real legwork researching Korean martial arts in the homeland. He's travelled throughout East Asia and trained wherever he's travelled. Unlike some martial arts journalists, Robert W. Young has a real love for what he writes about and has the martial arts skills to prove it. His video footage presented on this site was the FIRST available on many of the styles and schools you see inside, and you can bet your bottom dollar that Turtle Press took their inspiration for a lot of their videos from his early works.
